Grant Writing (with Dr. Andrew Mark)

Exciting news!

The Hornby Spark Society is proud to sponsor a grant writing workshop with Dr. Andrew Mark on "Crafting Your Story, Building Support, and Successful Submission." This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to improve their grant writing skills and secure funding for their projects.

The workshop will take place on Saturday April 29th and Sunday April 30th and will cost $200 for the weekend. Space is limited, so make sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible! 1/3 of the proceeds will go to the Spark, Workshop Expenses, and the Facilitator respectively.

We are exploring possibilities for subsidies for active committee representatives working on Hornby/public-good projects, so please contact us directly if you are interested. To keep you energized and focused, we will provide essential catering and coffee throughout the workshop.

Dr. Mark has helped organizations and individuals net close to $4 million in capital projects, general non-profit programming, arts specific projects, and scholarship awards in his career—most of this on Hornby and in the Comox Valley. He will share his expertise and provide practical tips on how to craft a compelling story, build support for your project, and successfully submit your grant proposal.

Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to build community and take your goals to the next level.
