Below is a list of the tools and equipment available at the Spark Makerspace.
This list is a work in progress. Access to some of the tools is restricted until a training course has been taken.
The Spark Hall and Campus
Located at 3850 Central Road on Hornby island the Spark Hall is a repurposed 4500sqf old Fire Station with 5 Truck bays and 6 roll up doors
Bay 1 - Crafting, Electronics

Bay 3 - Wood Shop
we have wood shop so lovely wood shop
Bay 4 - Mechanical
From Bikes to home auto if you want to wrench on something out of the rain in a heated truck bay with a flat floor that will not eat the tiny little part you dropped, we got you covered.
Bay 5 - Cold Metal Shop
we have a metal shaper…
Overhead Video Booth
We have an overhead video booth for filming bench-top action or that product shot to move your project forward or get your master piece noticed.

With grant money from the Hornby Island Community Fund we were able to acquire our first CNC Rougher. Shapeoko3 XXL CNC

Back Yard Danger Zone
In our fenced off danger zone we have functioning foundry that is able to sand cast aluminum. Mig welding, all the things that don’t want to be done inside have a place.
